Ten years ago, 16-year old you wrote this on a page of a Cattleya notebook, sealed it with a piglet sticker, and placed it inside a pink plastic egg-sumkinda-shell that later on protected it from years of growing up and moving around:
My Dearest Rhiza,
First time I saw you at camp, I knew that this beautiful worship leader would be so special to me. You’ve changed everything in me and for that I thank you.
The days will come and I will be leaving, and years will pass that I will not see you anymore. I just hope that when I come back, you’ll still remember me. I promise that you’ll always be in my heart. I will never ever forget you.
I love you!!
Phil. 1:3, Bud
Ahh, who would have thought that this adorable little boy, who poured his heart out on this little piece of paper, would someday be the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with? :)
Who. Would. Have. Thought!
